Fire Resistance of Flame-retardant Pre Filter Material 
 
The pre-filter flame retardant cotton reaches the S4 grade of DIN 5510-2, indicating that it has a good performance in fire protection, smoke suppression, and melt drop resistance
 
 Burning Damage Length: When tested by the DIN 54837 standard, the burning damage length shall not exceed 20 cm. This indicates that under the specified test conditions, the flame-retardant pre-filter cotton will not cause extensive material damage during combustion, thus limiting the spread range of the flame.
 
After-burning Time: The after-burning time shall not exceed 10 seconds. That is, when the ignition source is removed, the flame-retardant pre-filter cotton can stop burning within 10 seconds, reducing the duration of the fire and the fire risk.
 
Smoke Release Rating: It needs to reach the SR2 level. This requires that the amount of smoke generated by the material during combustion is relatively small. Specifically, the evaluation data of the smoke development rating should be ≤ 50 (%*min), which helps to maintain visibility during a fire and provides favorable conditions for personnel evacuation and rescue.
 
Dripping Classification: It belongs to the ST2 level, that is, no dripping occurs or the drips do not fall. This can prevent high-temperature drips generated during combustion from falling and causing new ignition sources, further improving fire safety.
 
Smoke Toxicity: When tested for smoke toxicity in accordance with the DIN EN ISO 5659-2 standard, the toxicity index is required to be no more than 1, ensuring that the smoke generated when the material burns has a relatively low toxicity and reducing harm to the human body.
